Our Philosophy of Care

We Focus On Quality

PDA has invested in excellence over its 40-plus-year history. Our Peer Review Committee, made up of representatives from a broad spectrum of specialties and locations across our service area, works to ensure consistent, exceptional care is provided for all our patients. This includes record review, specialists audits, and the long-term follow up of special cases.

In addition to our Peer Review process, we have a Quality Assurance Improvement Committee (QAIC) which has accountability for providing strategic direction and oversight for quality assurance and improvement systems for Kaiser Permanente Dental. We have a structured radiographic review process that assesses the quality of all X-rays and films taken.

QAIC also oversees organizational accreditation and credentialing. Kaiser Permanente Dental has been continuously accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) since 1990. This accreditation signifies that Kaiser Permanente Dental has passed rigorous national standards for the provision of quality dental care. PDA dentists provide oral health care for more than 290,000 Kaiser Permanente Dental members in 21 Oregon and SW Washington offices.

PDA’s approach is individualized to each patient, and we use the best available peer-reviewed literature to guide our clinical decisions.

We value the daily interactions, camaraderie and professional growth that group practice offers as well as the sharing of ideas among peers which results in unparalleled quality of care.
